Pike Career and STEM Center
The Pike Career and STEM Center needs your help. Funding for barbering and cosmetology kits keeps students in programs that lead to state licenses and careers.
Help students afford their kits
Funding for barbering and cosmetology kits is desperately needed. Many families are out of work or on a low income and can't afford the materials these classes require, so students are having to drop the class because they can't pay the fee for the kits.
Many students in our barbering and cosmetology programs receive their state license by the time they graduate and are employed. They also receive dual credit (college credit) from Vincennes University. Some students have even started their own barbershop or hair salon.
Some are making this a career while others use it as a part-time job while attending college. Please consider donating to help these students!
